FOR SWEET ROLLS, BREAD, SOUPS AND SANDWICHES, GERALDINE'S has become a household name in Idaho Falls, Ammon and eastern Idaho.

In 1997, Jay Bungard had the opportunity from his sister-in-law Geraldine to open a bakery in downtown Idaho Falls. Geraldine's quickly became a popular place for breakfast and lunch. In a short while, Geraldine's became the wholesale vendor for Wal-Mart and WinCo Foods. By 2007, space constraints at the downtown location prompted Bungard and his wife, Merry, to look for a bigger location, settling eventually on a store in Ammon, on 17th Street.
